Your day looks like this:
- You monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements;
- Ensure security and efficiency of Hosting Infrastructure;
- Install and configure software and hardware;
- Ensure security through backups;
- Upgrade systems with new releases;
- Troubleshoot issues and outages;
- Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues;
- Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Linux OS;
- Good Networking skills;
- Basic experience/understanding of hardware and servers;
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills;
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
This is how you stand out:
- Previous working experience as a Linux Administrator;
- Familiarity with LXC or other virtualisations like KVM, VM, etc.;
- Familiarity with VoIP/SIP;
- Experience with scripting and automation tools;
- Bachelor's degree in IT.
