Ballad offers a 4 to 21-week program focused on equipping participants with workplace essentials skills for success with a focus on the hospitality industry. Our program leads to industry standard certifications, resume building and upgrading workplace essential skills specific to a job placement that will send you on a path to success.
Job Description:
As an ESTS Trainee, you will engage in a unique and flexible program which combines occupational skills training, workplace essential skill development and potential for workplace training experience. This program is designed to prepare for roles such as:
- Health Care Aide
- Guest Service Associate
- Casino Attendant
- Cook
- Housekeeping
- Customer Service
- …and much much more!
Qualifications:
- Unemployed and collecting regular EI benefits or on income support
- Looking to upgrade skill set
- Transfer current skills to a new job
- Committed to completing a program designed for your success
- Located in the Whitecourt, Grande Prairie or Northwest Alberta
