Position Overview
Hospitality Services staff care for guest rooms by making beds, cleaning washrooms, vacuuming, and accommodating any special requests related to room presentation. This team is also responsible for overall lodge cleanliness in common areas. The Hospitality Services position supports the culinary team each evening by assisting with the clean-up process in the kitchen.
Along with a year-round hotel, pub, and dining room, The Lodge at Arrow Lakes is also host to the CMH Kootenay Heli-Skiing operation during winter months. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
▪Daily care of guest rooms which includes making beds, cleaning washrooms, vacuuming, and accommodating any special requests related to room presentation.
▪Support the culinary program with serving, clearing, cleaning, and dishwashing.
▪Execute the cleaning of all common areas of the lodge.
▪Provide a professional, highly organized, and detailed hospitality experience.
▪Follow OH&S, food safe, and WHMIS best-practices.

Minimum Qualifications
▪ Food Safe Certificate, preferred.
▪ Hospitality experience in a high-end, fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions
▪ This type of hospitality work is challenging and demanding. Successful staff are intrinsically motivated by a passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences with our guests.
▪ Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position up to 20 pounds on a regular basis.
▪ This position will be required to work weekends and holidays based on the needs of the business, seasonal workloads, and hotel/restaurant bookings.
▪ This position is based out of a quaint, fairly remote town in the West Kootenay region of BC. The successful candidate must have a passion for small-town living and working in an industry that is seasonally driven by tourism.

Compensation
A competitive daily rate will be provided, along with 4% vacation pay and on-site accommodation.
