You will become part of Cushman & Wakefield's CEE/SEE Capital Markets and Operator Selection department, supporting the team in various areas of the hotel real estate industry.Your role will involve supporting hotel real estate consultancy (including feasibility studies, concept studies, underwriting exercises, operator selection, operational review) and hotel investment advisory (sale/purchase mandates and commercial due diligence).
Job Description
The internship will start in February 2026 and last for at least a 6 month period.
As a member of the Capital Markets team, your responsibilities will include:
•Conducting market research (market analysis, competitive analysis, supply/demand analysis).
•Supporting the preparation of presentation materials for client pitches, investor information memorandum, and other transaction-related marketing documents.
•Assisting in due diligence processes for hotel transactions.
•Analysing financial statements, hotel operating performance, and industry data to conduct broker’s opinion of values.
•Attending client and investor meetings and supporting prospective buyers with information and project-related answers.
As a member of the Operator Selection team, your responsibilities will include:
•Conducting competitor analysis and compiling benchmark data to analyse hotel opportunities
•Taking part in the stages of operator selection processes, which involve analysis of operating offers, negotiations with the operators for the benefit of the client, or advising and reviewing final operating agreements.
•Creating content for marketing collateral – teasers, brochures, information memorandum and data rooms.
•Helping to maintain the team’s in-house databases of operators, hotel supply and pipeline, transactions and on-the-market opportunities.
Attending client and operator meetings and supporting operators with information and project-related answers.
Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
•Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a degree in Hospitality, Real Estate or Finance.
•Solid understanding of the hospitality industry (market dynamics, major brands, hotel operating structures, hotel KPIs and P&L statements).
•Understanding of real estate fundamentals (underwriting methodology and disposal milestones).
•Advanced computer skills, with strong proficiency in Excel.
•Strong writing and communication skills.
•Detail-oriented, with a meticulous and organised approach to managing tasks.
•Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit.
•Fluency in English: both written and verbal communication.
•Current and valid permit to work in the Czech Republic (European nationality or valid work permit).
