About the Role

The Hospitality Aide plays a vital role in supporting the healthcare team by providing compassionate and attentive care to residents. This position focuses on enhancing resident comfort and safety through diligent monitoring and assistance with non-direct care. By maintaining a clean and safe environment, the Hospitality Aide contributes to the overall well-being and recovery of residents. This role requires a dedicated individual who is attentive to detail, empathetic, and capable of working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor and record vital signs accurately, reporting any abnormalities to nursing staff promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in resident rooms and common areas to promote a safe environment.
  • Support infection control measures by adhering to hygiene practices and using personal protective equipment appropriately.
  • Utilize basic computer skills to document resident information and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Respond promptly to resident needs and requests, ensuring a high level of comfort and satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Understanding of infection control principles and practices.
  • Basic computer literacy to manage electronic health records and communication tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a healthcare or long-term care facility.
  • Additional training in infection prevention and control.
  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
