Job Description

Develops and maintains relationship between Santen and our customers, including doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals, maintain customer satisfaction No. 1 among competitors Develops strategy and achieves sales target of the assigned territory.

Assigned territory may include both government and private sectors Works independtly in the assigned territory to achieve assigned business objectives. 

Driving Sales Results:

Approaches healthcare professionals (doctors, pharmacists, nurses, etc) in hospitals & clinics in both Government & Private channels to introduce Santen products. Initiate and implement sales activities based on compliance rules, as well as follow up actions.

Regularly visits, consults and explains the key features and benefits of Santen products to enable doctors to understand how to use them in patient prescriptions.

Provides insights and sound counter-arguments regarding competitor differences.

Proactively collects market information about products and report to immediate superior and marketing.

Remains current on competitor products and services to ensure that Santen's product lines maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace.

Strong desire to excel and win.

Strong salesmanship with good analytical skills and relevant computer skills to make necessary report.

Good commercial accuracy, well market competition knowledge, able to come up with solution. Any other ad-hoc responsibilities as may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.

Customer Satisfaction and Internal Collaborations:

Ensures customer satisfaction with Santen products, services, coverage, professional supports, etc.

Supports in the implementation of the marketing strategy through participation in conferences, symposium, product launches and other awareness-building events. Execute marketing strategies to extend business, able to make individual and group presentation.

KOL management: manage key accounts, deliver scientific/product messages to doctors, build relationships with KOLs and find listing opportunity in medical institutions.

Make effort to obtain and improve the necessary knowledge and skills on sales and treatment practice and products by company training and team learning as well as self-studying

Work as a team across Santen Pharmaceutical HK

Serves as a role model for other reps within Santen, demonstrating commitment to Santen's vision and values.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree, science discipline will be an advantage.

Must have at least 1 year as a Medical Representative in Ophthalmology pharmaceutical company.

Understands medical and healthcare industry.

Proactive, positive & strategic.

Mature and can work independently for business objectives and customer satisfaction.

Also work as good team player to achieve common goals.

Familiar with PC software.
