We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Senior Projects Manager to Lead the delivery of Major Project(s) – the candidate will be responsible for the overall delivery for the major refurbishment or relocation projects(s), reporting to the Regional Head of Capital Project Management.

In the Corporate Services division, we provide solutions that enable Morgan Stanley’s workforce, across our global workplace locations, to effectively and efficiently work in the service of our clients.

This is a Vice President position within the Capital Project Management team, which designs, sources, and oversees all construction project(s) from start to finish, as well as coordinating office moves and new space readiness.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Lead and oversee the program management, governance and delivery of major projects in the pipeline.

  • Manage day-to-day project operations and team – including a contingent workforce.

  • Manage internal communications and reporting, build senior management relationships with Firm Management and other project stakeholders.

  • Oversee and report on risks issues and related topics via senior management forums.

  • Be accountable and responsible for the delivery of the project, ensuring governance is appropriately managed, stakeholders are consulted and updated throughout the life of a given project and that CS senior management are kept up to date and aware of progress related to the project.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Suitable leadership and coverage for team member absence.

  • Ensuring the project is delivered through their lifecycle in accordance with CS / Firm governance requirements and that spend is appropriately managed in line with Policy expectations.

  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise in the field of design, construction and contract management.

  • Protect Morgan Stanley’s cost exposure on the Project by providing SME oversight of a large internal and external team, ensuring best value for money while delivering a world-class office facility for our staff.

  • Minimum 10 years proven experience in major capital project delivery.

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant construction / related professional services area.
