Responsibilities
- Provide general, light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, dusting, laundry, vacuuming, mopping floors
- Purchase food and household supplies
- Make beds and change the bedding
- Wash dishes and empty trash cans
- Observe and report any pertinent information directly related to the well-being of the client
- Complete a minimum of 6 hours of in-service education
- Adhere to all agency policies
- Adheres to strict confidentiality in regard to client’s personal life.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English
- Must be able to speak and understand English in order to communicate with supervisors and clients
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and current auto insurance
- Ability to act in a supportive and compassionate manner
