Position Summary:
Provides direct working supervision of the cytology and histology department and is responsible for the processing of solid tissues (biopsies and surgical tissues) and fluids (gynecologic and non-gynecologic) for microscopic examination. Microscopically examines cytological specimens to detect evidence of cancer and other pathologic conditions
Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:
Medical Technologist or Histotechnologist with NYS licensure
