The Workday Integration Developer plays a critical role in designing, building, testing, and deploying robust integration solutions within the Workday ecosystem. This position requires a deep understanding of Workday’s integration capabilities and a proven track record of translating business requirements into scalable, reliable technical solutions. The developer will collaborate closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow across systems, support major releases, and maintain high performance and reliability of integrations. By driving integration strategy and execution, this role directly contributes to enhancing the end-user experience and ensuring the successful delivery of Workday implementations.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday integration solutions using Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, and PECIs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across environments to ensure system stability and performance
  • Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate functional requirements into technical specifications
  • Conduct unit and end-to-end testing to validate integration functionality against business and technical requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to business, IT, and service partners on integration strategies and best practices
  • Support integration discovery and scoping phases for new implementation projects
  • Coordinate deliverables and timelines to ensure on-time project completion
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare for and execute Workday releases, including regression testing

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • 7-12 years of professional experience in IT, with a minimum of 5 years as a Workday Integrations Consultant or Developer
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Workday integration tools including Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, and PECIs
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience integrating applications via web service APIs using SOAP and REST protocols
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with JavaScript, XSLT, JSON, and xPath for data transformation and integration logic
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and within agile teams
  • Proficient in documenting technical designs, specifications, and integration workflows


Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • 7-12 years of professional IT experience
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Workday Integrations Consultant or Developer
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, and PECIs
  • At least 3 years of experience integrating applications through SOAP and REST web service APIs
  • At least 2 years of experience with JavaScript, XSLT, JSON, and XPath
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and within agile teams
  • Proficiency documenting technical designs, specifications, and integration workflows
