Simpson Strong-Tie seeks a motivated and proficient HRIS Administrator with specialized expertise in Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) to lead the optimization and management of our Talent Management ecosystem. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary administrator for the CSOD platform, directing essential functions such as Learning Management, Performance Management, Succession Planning, and Skills Management. The ideal candidate will blend extensive technical and functional mastery of the Cornerstone suite with a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences. You will partner closely with HR, Learning & Development, Talent Management, and key business stakeholders to foster employee development, leadership growth, regulatory compliance, and organizational efficiency across a global footprint.

Responsibilities
- Cornerstone System Administration: Serve as the chief administrator for the Cornerstone OnDemand environment, responsible for configuring and refining system parameters, workflows, security roles, and access permissions. Oversee the lifecycle of system updates, including release testing, regression testing, and deployment, while safeguarding data integrity, security protocols, and compliance with internal policies and audit requirements. Develop and sustain detailed system documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user manuals.
- Learning Management System (LMS) Oversight: Curate and manage learning assets, including catalogs, curricula, certifications, assignments, and training programs. Supervise a blend of instructor-led and digital learning initiatives, ensuring compliance training and certification tracking are executed effectively. Resolve inquiries and issues raised by learners, managers, and administrators, while monitoring key performance indicators related to training completion rates and learning efficacy.
- Performance Management Configuration: Manage the end-to-end performance review cycles, goal setting, competency structures, and talent calibration activities. Lead annual and mid-year review operations, collaborating with HR and business leaders to refine performance processes and boost user engagement. Maintain performance templates, rating scales, competency definitions, and their associated workflows.
- Succession Planning Support: Facilitate succession planning initiatives and talent review meetings by configuring talent pools, succession scenarios, readiness tiers, and key role planning. Produce reports and analytics to guide organizational talent conversations, working alongside HR leadership to pinpoint process enhancements and workforce planning opportunities.
- Skills Management and Matrix Administration: Uphold skills frameworks, competency models, and skills libraries. Support the rollout and continuous management of skills matrices, collaborating with Talent Management teams to monitor employee capabilities and development progress. Configure skills assessments, proficiency tiers, and reporting tools to drive skills-centric talent development and workforce strategy.
- Reporting and Analytics: Create, build, and maintain reports, dashboards, and on-demand analyses. Deliver actionable intelligence regarding learning results, performance metrics, talent readiness, succession planning, and workforce skills. Identify trends and opportunities to improve user adoption and business outcomes, providing HR leadership with data-driven insights for decision-making.
- User Support and Training: Act as the primary escalation contact for support tickets and system-related issues concerning Cornerstone. Conduct root cause analysis for complex technical challenges and provide end-user training and change management assistance for new features and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in HRIS administration.
- At least two years of direct experience managing the Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) platform.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience supporting Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Proven track record in administering Performance Management solutions and associated processes.
- Background in supporting Succession Planning programs and talent review workflows.
- Experience managing skills frameworks, competency models, or skills matrices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting aptitude.
- Proficiency in designing reports, dashboards, and performing data analysis.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer service abilities.
- Capacity to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently within a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
