Pay Rate: Range $2412 Weekly Gross pay based on a 36 hour work week (Includes Non-taxable
travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Med Surg
Shifts available: Nights
Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 X 12-hr shifts, Every other
weekend, Holiday rotation required
- Current Med Surg Nursing experience with float to PCU/Stepdown: 2 years - Required
- Cardiac drip experience - Required
- Dementia experience/management - Required
- Epic experience - Required
- Must be willing to float to other similar units (MS) - Required
- Prior travel experience: Highly
preferred
- COVID Vaccinations or exemptions
- Required
Education, License
and Certification Requirements:
- ASN - Required
- BSN – Preferred
- RN License for State of New
Hampshire or Compact - Required
- BLS Certification from AHA - Required
- ACLS Certification from AHSA – Required
Job Description:
- Coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates
in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working
cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in
maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical
setting for assigned units (Med Surg)
- Must be willing to float to other similar MS units
- Must demonstrate clinical competence by utilizing the
nursing process
- Must assess and identify patient problems/needs
- Will establish a plan of care, implement interventions, and
evaluate and revise the patient's plan of care based on patient's progress
- Responsible for assisting, supporting, and educating
patients
- EMR: Epic
- Dress code: Solid scrubs of any color, no logos
- Patient population: Adult-Geriatric
Skills Required
- Current Med Surg nursing experience with float to PCU/Stepdown (2 years)
- Cardiac drip experience
- Dementia experience/management
- Epic EMR experience
- Willingness to float to other similar Med Surg units
- Prior travel nursing experience
- COVID vaccination or approved exemption
- ASN (Associate Degree in Nursing)
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
- RN license for New Hampshire or Compact license
- BLS certification (AHA)
- ACLS certification (AHSA listed)
