By leveraging advanced automation and data-driven insights, this position plays a pivotal part in enhancing operational efficiency, fostering developer productivity, and aligning platform capabilities with broader business objectives.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive platform assessments and capability reviews to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate emerging GitHub features and tooling to determine their potential for organizational adoption.
- Facilitate onboarding processes and maintain up-to-date requirements documentation for new users and teams.
- Formulate strategic solution recommendations to ensure readiness for platform adoption.
- Manage GitHub organizations and support enhancements to Enterprise Management Units (EMU) and identity governance frameworks.
- Align repository ownership structures with organizational needs and refine governance operating models.
- Implement security enhancements using GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS) and improve token governance and repository attestation processes.
- Lead disaster recovery initiatives and perform regular backup and recovery assessments to ensure business continuity.
- Provide ongoing operational support, including troubleshooting issues, resolving incidents, and maintaining system documentation.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and users to address inquiries and drive operational improvements.
- Develop governance dashboards to provide visibility into usage metrics and adoption trends.
- Monitor platform consumption to identify cost optimization opportunities and drive workflow automation.
- Propose and implement platform enhancements based on data analysis and stakeholder feedback.
Requirements
- Proven expertise with GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC), GitHub Actions, GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS), and GitHub Copilot.
- Strong background in Azure DevOps, DevSecOps methodologies, and CI/CD pipeline management.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, along with experience in REST API integration and automation scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps for building serverless workflows.
- Knowledge of AI augmentation techniques and Agentic Engineering principles to drive intelligent automation.
Skills Required
- 8 to 13 years of professional experience in software development, platform engineering, or DevOps operations
- Experience managing GitHub Enterprise environments
- Expertise in security, compliance, and resilience for GitHub Enterprise
- Deep knowledge of GitHub Advanced Security, token governance, and repository attestation
- Experience designing and executing disaster recovery and backup strategies
- Strong analytical skills and experience creating reports, dashboards, and consumption cost monitoring
- Excellent stakeholder communication and user enablement skills
- Ability to work effectively across locations in India
