Range $2088 to $2232 Weekly Gross Pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable
travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Psychiatric
Shifts available: Nights
Schedule: 36 hours / Week, 3 x12-hour shifts, any 3 days of the week, including every other weekend and Holidays

- 2+
years of Recent/Current Inpatient Acute Psychiatric Nursing experience
- Comfortable
and willing to work with children, adolescents, adults &
older adult patient population
Education, License
and Certification Requirements:
- ASN or an equivalent – Required
- BSN or an equivalent – Highly
preferred
- RN License for State of PA (for candidates residing in PA) or Compact RN License (for Out-of-state candidates) - Required
- CPI or HWC Certification - Preferred
- BLS Certification from AHA - Required
Job Description:
- Provide all aspects of
Psychiatric Nursing care for patients in assigned psych units.
- Provide care for inpatient adult and adolescent units and float to other units if required
- Provide and coordinate care by
assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
- Develop and implement nursing
care plans.
- Responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning and
establishing outcomes, implementation, and evaluation.
- Accurately and promptly
implements physicians’ orders.
- Prepares, administers, and
records medications in accordance with the policy regarding the
administration of medications.
- Records information concisely,
accurately and completely.
- Participates in multidisciplinary
treatment planning and revises plan of care based on assessment.
Skills Required
- 2+ years recent/current inpatient acute psychiatric nursing experience
- Comfortable working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults
- ASN or equivalent
- BSN or equivalent
- RN license for Pennsylvania or Compact RN license for out-of-state candidates
- CPI or HWC Certification
- BLS Certification from American Heart Association
