Job Description
The perfect candidate feels comfortable with video conferencing technology, is kind, and compassionate. In addition, the ideal candidate must be willing to engage in continued education and supervision or peer consultation provided by us to ensure that clients are getting the best possible services.
QualificationsRequirements:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (Supervised Practice applicants are encouraged to apply)
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Clinical or Counselling Psychology
- Experience providing services to a wide range of clients
- Training in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy
- Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic formulation
- Documentation (e.g., progress notes, report/letter writing)
- Knowledge of issues relating to children, adolescents, elderly and experience working with couples and groups would be an asset
- Background in a range of therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, EFT, ACT, client-centered, psychodynamic, mindfulness)
- Availability to work at least two days per week
- Excellent communication (written & verbal); a second language is an asset
- Individual liability and malpractice insurance

This is an excellent opportunity for new psychology graduates looking to complete their supervised practice year with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Supervision in the areas of clinical and counselling psychology are available as well as for seasoned clinicians interested in working within a supportive environment.
SALARY RATE – Commensurate with education level, skills, training, and experience.
