Job Title: Health Information Management Tech

As a “Health Information Management Tech” you will:
In collaboration with others, monitors and audits EHR documentation.
Reviews records as scheduled or on ad hoc basis to establish completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of documentation
As directed, performs audit of metadata to detect potential privacy breeches related to EHR access
Selects appropriate or defined sample size to support audit validity
In collaboration with others, monitors and reviews MPI duplicate reports to ensure timely processing and correction
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED and experience in Medical Office, Medical Records or other applicable health care experience.
Strong knowledge of Medical Record concepts including record completion requirements, chart tracking, and release of information procedures.
Knowledge of data analysis concepts.
Experience with Computer skills to include Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook.

**0.4 FTE (16 hours weekly) up to 1.0 FTE (40 hours weekly)
