QA & Testing Senior Analyst


Position Overview

The QA & Testing Senior Analyst supports quality assurance activities across software development projects, ensuring delivery of reliable, high‑quality applications. Working closely with project teams, business stakeholders, and IT partners, the Senior Analyst contributes to the design, execution, and improvement of testing processes across host-based, distributed, and client–server environments.

With 3–5 years of experience, this role focuses on hands‑on testing, test planning, and quality practices while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA function

Responsibilities

< >Works within Collaborates with project teams, developers, business analysts, and IT staff throughout the project life cycle to support the creation and validation of system functionality. Assists in designing and maintaining test environments, developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned with project requirements. Performs functional, integration, regression, and acceptance testing for new or modified applications and systems. Identifies defects, logs them with clear detail, and works with technical teams to support root‑cause analysis and retesting. Contributes to the improvement of QA procedures, standards, and best practices. Supports the development and reporting of QA metrics related to test progress, defect trends, and overall software quality. Executes and maintains automated test scripts when required, and makes updates based on changes in processes or standards. Reviews new QA tools or testing approaches and provides input to ensure they align with team needs. Helps ensure consistent application of testing methodology across projects and participates in knowledge‑sharing within the QA team. Qualifications

Required Skills:

< >3–5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.  Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, and defect management processes.  Hands‑on experience with test planning, test case design, and manual test execution.  Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar) is a plus.  Familiarity with API testing, SQL, and basic scripting is beneficial.  Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.   Effective communication and collaboration skills across technical and non‑technical teams. 

Location & Hours of Work

< >Full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Expected overlap with US hours as appropriate.Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India, with flexibility to work remotely as required.
