 Specific Job Duties

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve or exceed annual sales and profitability targets.
  • Review customer technical specifications, standards and tender documentation, identify key technical requirements and compliance obligations, and coordinate internal stakeholders to develop technically compliant solutions and proposals
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis and provide a three-year market forecast to inform business planning.
  • Proactively engage with key decision-makers at Public Power and Investor-Owned Utilities, including Supply Chain, Standards, Project Engineering, Warehouse, and Construction Management.
  • Develop and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to customers and prospects.
  • Effectively collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and resolve issues promptly.
  • Gather and disseminate market intelligence to keep the organization informed of industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Organize and host product training sessions and plant tours to educate customers and promote Prysmian products.
  • Communicate customer feedback and market insights to management.

Key Characteristics

  • Strong technical expertise in HV cable systems, including system design, cable design and/or installation engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, understand and interpret customer specifications, technical standards and project requirements, and translate them into practical and compliant technical solutions.
  • Ability to challenge technical assumptions, assess compliance risks, and guide cross-functional teams in developing optimized and customer-compliant system solutions.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence key decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including presentation and negotiation.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and project management skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and adaptable to dynamic environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Experience collaborating with legal teams on contract review and terms and conditions.

Desired Background:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (technical preferred)

Experience:

  • Minimum 2- 3 as system designer or installation engineer
  • Hands-on experience in reviewing customer technical specifications, preparing technical deviations/clarifications, and supporting the development of compliant HV cable system solutions.
  • Knowledge of utility industry & products
