Nationwide IT Services, NIS, is seeking a Project Manager to assist our HHS government customer in providing non-inherently governmental acquisition support services to facilitate the award and administration of contracts, perform quality assurance across contracts, and provide budget support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the Team's daily assignments and activities, including performance and quality monitoring/ Manage Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan
- Assign acquisitions to contractor staff and manage assignments in compliance with contract requirements, milestone schedules, and Standard Operating Procedures and Directives
- Maintain and communicate plans, status, and risks. Primary interface to client leadership.
- Mentor staff and plan training activities.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Project Management experience in federal acquisitions and can manage multiple assignments.
- Minimum 8 years of experience with federal acquisitions. Capable of handling support for complex acquisitions involving any contract type, may be competitive or non-competitive, and utilizing any source selection technique
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
