About the Role
As a Heyscape Cabin Caretaker, you’ll ensure our cabins are clean, well-maintained, and welcoming for guests. You’ll work independently, taking care of everything from housekeeping to minor repairs, all while enjoying the great outdoors.
What You’ll Do
- Cabin Maintenance & Upkeep – Perform cleaning, linen changes, restocking, and basic maintenance to keep cabins in top condition.
- Guest Experience – Ensure cabins are welcoming, well-prepared, and problem-free for an unforgettable guest experience.
- Outdoor & Site Care – Maintain surrounding areas, check paths, clear debris, and ensure outdoor spaces are inviting.
- Stock & Supplies – Monitor and replenish essentials, ensuring guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay.
- Basic Repairs & Troubleshooting – Handle minor fixes and report any significant maintenance issues promptly.
- Self-Sufficient & Reliable – Work independently in remote locations, managing tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Safety & Compliance – Follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines to ensure a safe stay for guests.
What We’re Looking For
Hands-on Maintenance Skills – Basic repair, cleaning, and upkeep experience preferred.
Organised & Reliable – Able to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and maintain high standards.
Outdoor & Remote Work Enthusiast – Comfortable working in off-grid locations with minimal facilities.
Customer-Focused Mindset – Passion for delivering great guest experiences.
Driver’s Licence & Reliable Transport – Essential for travelling to cabin locations.
Flexibility & Availability – Willing to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required.
