Position Summary
The Hemophilia Strategic Partnership Lead is a senior commercial role responsible for the growth and long-term sustainability of Pfizer Korea's hemophilia portfolio. Reporting to the Strategic Alliance & Partnership (SA&P) Lead, the role drives Pfizer's commercial strategy and stakeholder engagement across the hemophilia landscape in Korea.
The role pairs strategic thinking with strong field execution - building a deep understanding of the Hemophilia A landscape, developing key-account engagement strategy, and strengthening the stakeholder relationships that support a sustainable business. As Pfizer's Hemophilia A market expert, the successful candidate translates field insight into clear commercial direction and works cross-functionally to deliver an integrated portfolio approach.
Main Responsibilities / Duties
1. Hemophilia A Market Navigation & Stakeholder Insight
  • Build and maintain a deep, current understanding of the Korea Hemophilia A landscape - hemophilia treatment centers (HTCs), prescriber decision drivers, prophylaxis paradigms, and the positioning of factor and non-factor therapies (including the incumbent emicizumab franchise).
  • Develop and own a prioritized stakeholder map of high-value Hemophilia A accounts, key opinion leaders, hospital pharmacy and procurement decision-makers, and institutional stakeholders such as the Korea Hemophilia Foundation (KHF).
  • Generate structured field intelligence on competitive dynamics, switching behavior, and unmet need, and translate it into decision-ready input for brand strategy and forecasting.

2. Key Account Penetration Strategy
  • Design and execute account-level penetration plans for priority Hemophilia A centers, defining the clinical and economic value levers that drive adoption and differentiate Pfizer in target accounts.
  • Establish account-specific engagement and access roadmaps aligned to the brand strategy and the Korean reimbursement (HIRA) environment.
  • Sequence engagement to accelerate early uptake and protect against competitive entrenchment in target accounts.

3. Strategic Alliance & Business Model Development
  • Identify and assess potential external partnership opportunities that may support portfolio strategy, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable business objectives, using field insight to inform the business rationale and appropriate engagement model.
  • Build transparent, compliant, and purpose-driven engagements with key institutions, academic societies, and clinical opinion leaders, including the Korea Hemophilia Foundation where appropriate, while respecting stakeholder independence and ensuring a legitimate patient, scientific, educational, or access-related purpose.
  • Shape the partnership operating model - governance and ways of working - so that it is sustainable, effective, and fully compliant with Pfizer policy and Korean regulation.
  • Convert field insight into recommendations on go-to-market design, the optimal commercial model, and launch sequencing and investment decisions toward the Hemophilia A winning choice.
  • Partner with Marketing, Market Access, Medical, and Sales to deliver an integrated portfolio narrative across Hemophilia A and B.

4. Strategic Leadership & Influence
  • Act as the recognized Hemophilia A subject-matter authority within SA&P and the broader Korea commercial organization.
  • Influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders without direct authority - bringing a strategist's framing and a builder's drive to execution.
  • Role-model Pfizer's values (Courage, Excellence, Equity, Joy) and an enterprise, One-Pfizer mindset.

Required Skill Set
Education
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Experience
  • Minimum 8-10 years of pharmaceutical commercial experience, with a substantial track record in Hemophilia - or directly transferable rare-disease / specialty hematology - market development.
  • Demonstrable depth of understanding and credibility with Hemophilia treaters, treatment centers, and the broader hemophilia community in Korea.
  • Proven success in key account management and in the launch or market development of a specialty / rare-disease product.
  • Experience managing and supporting third-party alliances, co-promotion, or partnership models.

Knowledge
  • Strong command of the Korean hemophilia treatment and reimbursement environment (HIRA criteria) and the competitive landscape across factor and non-factor therapies.
  • Working understanding of institutional stakeholder dynamics, HTC operations, and the role of organizations such as the Korea Hemophilia Foundation (KHF).

Competencies
  • Strategic thinking paired with strong executional drive - able to design the plan and personally move it forward when execution lags.
  • Stakeholder engagement and relationship-building, with high trust and executive presence.
  • Analytical rigor and the ability to synthesize ambiguous field signals into clear, decision-ready insight.
  • Cross-functional collaboration and influence within a matrixed organization.
  • Business acumen, negotiation skill, and a disciplined compliance mindset.

Travel & Working Conditions
Field-based role requiring frequent nationwide travel to priority accounts and partner organizations.
