Join Our Team as an Experienced Helicopter Administrator – Make a Real Impact in Remote Operations

As a Helicopter Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our remote sites, ensuring the smooth coordination of helicopter operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, service, and efficiency. You will be the face of our site, delivering exceptional service to both residents and team members in a critical and fast-paced environment.

This role is fixed term 12 month contract, with the opportunity to extend. Even time roster 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off. 

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Helicopter Landing Operations: Ensuring the safe and efficient landing and take-off of helicopters, following all established safety protocols.
  • Administrative Support: Provide essential administrative support, including roster management, reporting, and maintaining key documents like manifests, HR stats, and emergency response plans.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Welcome and assist visitors and residents, addressing concerns and escalating issues to ensure a positive experience for all.
  • Safety and Maintenance: Report maintenance issues (e.g., air conditioning faults, leaking taps), ensure adherence to safety protocols, and assist with emergency drills and muster activities.
  • Compliance: Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures, including HSE, HACCP, Sodexo’s standards, and all relevant aviation regulations.
  • Operational Coordination: Ensure proper management and distribution of POB and ERT lists, monitor flight schedules, and oversee the mobilisation and de-mobilisation of personnel.
  • Training and Development: Monitor and update the training matrix, assist in onboarding new employees, and provide support in training initiatives.
  • Staff Management: Support site operations by managing casual staff, ensuring adequate manning, and coordinating tasks as needed to maintain operational efficiency.

To Be Successful, You Will Need:

  • Qualifications:
    • AROC  certification
    • BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) certification
    • ECHUTE (Emergency Chute) training
    • MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card)
  • Previous Experience: Strong background in administration, customer service, and a solid understanding of helicopter operations in a remote site environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to maintain clear handovers, collaborate across teams, and ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Attention to Detail: A high level of attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently, even under pressure.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic, remote work environment.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ability to pass pre-employment medicals, including drug and alcohol testing.
