Propósito del Rol
Gestionar, controlar y optimizar los procesos de Tratamiento Térmico, Enderezado y Shot Peen, así como participar activamente en el desarrollo de procesos para nuevos productos, garantizando seguridad, calidad y eficiencia operativa.
Conocimientos
- Caracterización estructural de materiales.
- Manejo de líneas de carburizado continuo con atmósfera controlada.
- Dominio de herramientas automotrices: PFMEA, DFMEA, Core Tools, SPC.
- Conocimiento avanzado de tratamientos térmicos en acero.
- Interpretación de dibujos técnicos.
- Metodologías de solución de problemas.
- Lean Manufacturing.
- Conocimientos en CQI-9.
- Procesos de enderezado, shot peen y limpieza láser.
- Software para medición de “cracks” en enderezadoras.
- Gestión de proyectos de reducción de costos.
- Manejo básico de Power BI.
Experiencia
- 5 años de experiencia en roles similares dentro del sector metalúrgico o automotriz.
- Experiencia en liderazgo y manejo de personal.
Formación Académica
- Ingeniero en Materiales o Ingeniero Metalúrgico con título y cédula profesional.

Skills Required
- 5 years experience in similar roles within metallurgy or automotive sector
- Leadership and personnel management experience
- Degree in Materials Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering with professional license
- Advanced English (spoken and written, ~90% minimum)
- Availability for shift work and flexible schedules
- Advanced knowledge of GD&T
- Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
- Advanced use of Minitab
- Basic use of Power BI
- Experience with continuous carburizing lines with controlled atmosphere and advanced steel heat treatments
- Knowledge of CQI-9
- Familiarity with straightening (enderezado), shot peen and laser cleaning processes
- Experience using crack measurement software for straightening equipment
- Proficiency with automotive standards and methodologies: IATF 16949, DIN, AIAG, ISO, SPC/MSA, APQP/PPAP
- Mastery of Core Tools: PFMEA, DFMEA and SPC
- Demonstrable experience with problem-solving methodologies and continuous improvement (Lean)
