Meeting Street is currently looking for a Healthy Families America Supervisor for 40 hours per week. 

Duties:

  • Supports the program manager to ensure that the program follows state and federal regulations and ensures that all performance standards are being met.
  • Provides direct reflective supervision for 2 hours weekly per staff person.
  • Trains and supports new staff during their orientation process, including evaluating areas of further training so that they will become proficient in their job.
  • Conducts joint visits with each home visitor on a quarterly basis.
  • Utilizes data to provide feedback to staff regarding performance around benchmarks and standards
  • Attends monthly HFA supervisor meetings facilitated by RIDOH; also attends mandatory meetings in absentia of the Program Manager.
  • Review data entry using ETO for documentation of all direct staff. 
  • Facilitate team meetings with staff and supervisors weekly or as needed. 
  • Assist with hiring of all staff.

Requirements

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Master’s degree in public health or human services administration or fields related to working with children and      families, or bachelor’s degree in a Health or Human Service field with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Preference  given to applicants with Growing Great Kids Curriculum or HFA core training
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and own transportation to meet home visiting requirements.
  • Services are provided in the child's natural environments, including the home, childcare settings, community, or other immediate environments natural to the child/family/caregiver environment. 
  • Able to get at a child's level, climb stairs, deal with weather conditions, lift, bend, and stooping.

Skills Required

  • Master’s degree in public health, human services administration, or a related field focused on children and families
  • Bachelor’s degree in a health or human services field plus three years of relevant experience, as an alternative to the master’s degree
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Valid auto insurance
  • Personal transportation for home visiting requirements
  • Ability to work in children’s natural environments, including homes, childcare settings, and community locations
  • Ability to get to a child’s level, climb stairs, handle weather conditions, lift, bend, and stoop
  • Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency
  • Growing Great Kids Curriculum training or Healthy Families America core training
