The Position
The Head of Treasury is responsible for leading the Treasury team in the management of Renmoney’s liquidity position, to achieve optimal profitability while minimizing risk exposure.
You will provide timely and relevant Balance Sheet information to facilitate strategic decision making.
What You’ll Do
• Monitor and measure liquidity and funding requirements and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Monitor and measure interest rate risk and advise strategies to manage it.
• Monitor Balance Sheet triggers and regulatory ratios.
• Diversify funding sources.
• Participate and lead wholesale funding deals.
• Initiate funds transfer and Bank placements.
• Manage banking relationships and Bureau de change dealings.
• Assist in the preparation of ALCO reports.
• Conduct a periodic rate survey and market intelligence to aid cost of funds management.
Requirements
Required:
• University degree or equivalent in any field
• A minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in a Treasury or Finance role in commercial banks
Preferred:
• ACA (ICAN), CIMA or ACCA qualification / Student membership
