Senior Director of Strategic Transformation Office
Position Summary
The Senior Director of Transformation serves as the NAM CS organization’s strategic execution leader. This role combines a focus on market analysis and strategy with execution of critical priorities needed to achieve that strategy. This role drives enterprise-wide transformation, ensuring alignment between business strategy and execution while delivering measurable outcomes across major initiatives. The position oversees the Transformation Office, integrating strategic market analysis with program delivery, change management, and portfolio governance to accelerate organizational growth and operational excellence.
The role supports all critical departments across and adjacent to the NAM CS organization including Service Operations, Education and Workforce Solutions, Field Service, Finance, Lifecycle Management and Service Business Management. Also, will oversee a team of 5-7 people.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Alignment
- Conducts annual strategic planning in partnership with the Head of Strategy, NAM CS. Including but not limited to: market and competitive analysis, engagement with internal and external partners regarding market trends, alignment with global strategy team, etc.
- Hosts and coordinates annual Hoshin Kanri or other strategic methodology workshops. Helps develop KPIs to reach strategic goals in alignment with executive leadership and Finance teams.
- Partners with executive leadership to translate strategic goals into executable programs and measurable outcomes.
- Maintains a holistic view of the enterprise transformation portfolio — ensuring alignment with business priorities, customer needs, and financial objectives.
- Drives cross-functional coordination among departments, IT, operations, and finance to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives.
Market and Competitive Analysis
- Conduct strategic assessments of market trends and competitive positioning to inform transformation priorities.
- Identify emerging opportunities and risks impacting transformation efforts.
Innovation and Future Readiness
- Champion innovation initiatives that support strategic objectives.
- Evaluate new technologies and business models for long-term competitiveness
Transformation Office Leadership
- Establish and lead the Transformation Office (TO), encompassing enterprise programs, business change, and strategic initiatives.
- Manage the enterprise program portfolio — helping to define and prioritize initiatives based on strategic value, resource capacity, and risk.
- Define governance, cadence, and operating models that balance agility with accountability.
- Oversee delivery of key transformation programs (e.g., digital transformation, process optimization, operating model redesign).
- Introduce data-driven portfolio management tools and analytics to improve transparency and decision-making.
- Ensure programs deliver measurable business value (ROI, efficiency, customer satisfaction, etc.).
Change Management & Adoption
- Lead enterprise change management strategy to drive adoption and behavioral change across the organization.
- Partner with Communications, HR, and business sponsors to embed change readiness and capability-building programs.
- Measure adoption, engagement, and value realization to sustain transformation outcomes.
- Integrate change management theory into all strategic projects and programs with an emphasis on building a sustainable culture.
Performance Measurement & Value Realization
- Develop enterprise dashboards that track progress toward transformation goals, value delivery, and risk management.
- Partner with Finance to quantify benefits realization and ensure return on strategic investment.
- Provide quarterly reports and insights to executive leadership.
Continuous Improvement & Capability Building
- Foster a culture of disciplined strategic analysis, execution, learning, and continuous improvement.
- Build internal transformation capabilities through training, coaching, and talent development.
- Introduce modern delivery frameworks (Agile at scale, OKRs, Lean Portfolio Management).
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in strategy, program/portfolio management, transformation leadership, finance transformation initiatives or management consulting.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare, medtech and/or a related field
- Significant experience in market and competitive analysis, innovation and thought leadership in the service and/or medtech service industry
- Proven success leading enterprise-scale transformation or change initiatives.
- Strong business acumen and ability to connect strategic goals with operational execution.
- Experience in financial roles such as accounting, controlling, and/or analyst/planning. Experience with budgeting, planning and forecasting is critical for this role.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Agile, Lean, or digital transformation methodologies preferred.
- Experience with managing 5-7 people preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

The base pay range for this position is:
$172,680 - $237,435Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
