You'll define and own the enterprise technology and architecture strategy, ensuring product roadmaps are delivered securely, sustainably, and at scale in alignment with MHC’s multi-year growth strategy.
What you’ll get to do:

Own and manage the technological aspects of the product roadmap, tech KPIs, operational processes, and budgets.
- Establish and uphold clear lines of accountability between Product and Technology, including ownership of architecture, platforms, tooling, SDLC standards, and non-functional requirements (security, scalability, reliability, performance), championing close collaboration with the Product team to drive efficiency and fuel product-led growth.
- Lead engineering and quality: Own architectural direction and standards across the MHC product portfolio; evolve the target architecture; enforce SDLC and quality practices that balance delivery speed, security, accessibility, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
- Drive cloud-native and SaaS modernization: Accelerate migration and consolidation programs, balancing speed with customer retention and R&D capacity.
- Own technology operations (IT Ops/DevOps): Evaluate and improve reliability, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency across environments; strengthen observability and automation; govern change control and release management and ensure the tech-enabled productivity of all MHC employees through the management of internal operations.
- Own security and compliance outcomes: Partner with InfoSec to maintain SOC 2/HIPAA/GDPR/PCI controls; establish future compliance standards; manage incident response and audit readiness; publish operational KPIs; ensure sales prospect and customer trust in the platform.
- Lead technology initiatives to foster innovation and integrate AI into MHC’s growth products, advancing toward agentic AI capabilities that enhance user experience and productivity while safeguarding compliance for customers.
- Own technology budgeting and vendor management: Build and manage technology budgets; negotiate and optimize vendor contracts to optimize cloud spend.
- Manage business continuity and disaster recovery for the business: Maintain plans and tabletop exercises across IT Ops/DevOps, closing gaps and ensuring resilience.
- Champion talent management and org design across Technology teams: Structure teams, hire and develop leaders/individual contributors, foster a learning culture including AI skill enablement; align competencies for progression.
- Work closely with the executive team to ensure delivery success and accelerate go-to-market growth. Partner with Product, Customer, Sales, and Finance to strategically sequence investments, clearly communicating technical constraints, architectural trade-offs, and long-term cost implications alongside product value and growth opportunities.
