The opportunity

At TravelPerk, we're building the most loved platform for business travel and beyond. Behind that vision is a world-class team of engineers, product thinkers, and data experts. We’re now looking for a strategic recruitment leader to help us scale this talent engine globally.

As our Head of Tech Recruitment, you will take full ownership of how we hire across our Builders organisation. This is not a maintenance role. It's an opportunity to reimagine how we attract, assess, and hire top tech talent at pace, and to lead the team that delivers it.

You’ll work closely with our CPO, CTO, VP People, and senior tech leaders across Europe and the US, building the systems and team that will power the next phase of our growth.

Why this role matters

We’re hiring 20 to 30 tech and product roles per quarter globally, with increasing complexity and reach as we grow in the US and integrate recent acquisitions. Our Builders team sits at the heart of that growth, and getting hiring right is critical.

You’ll inherit a capable team of six, based across Barcelona, London, and Edinburgh, and play a central role in shaping how we scale. We’re looking for someone who brings clarity, strategic depth, and a sharp eye for quality. Someone who can set the bar, build momentum, and raise expectations.

What you will do

This role combines leadership, strategic ownership, and hands-on delivery. You’ll shape the future of tech hiring at TravelPerk while building a team and process that others can rely on.

Lead and scale the team

  • Manage and develop a team of six (3 FTE recruiters, 2 contractors, 1 TA ops)
  • Create a strong team culture with clear goals, high standards, and a shared sense of purpose
  • Identify future resourcing needs and shape the structure to support global scale

Own the hiring strategy

  • Partner with senior leaders across Engineering, Product, and Data to define short and long-term hiring plans
  • Translate these plans into predictable delivery with strong pipelines and tight alignment to business priorities
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to the CPO, CTO and VP People on all matters related to tech talent

Build for scale

  • Drive improvements across process, tooling, and data to create a more efficient and scalable hiring engine
  • Ensure quality and consistency in every hire through strong assessment frameworks and hiring manager enablement
  • Build a reputation for excellence in how we engage, assess, and bring in top-tier talent
What you’ll need to succeed
  • Deep experience leading tech recruitment in high-growth tech scale-up
  • A proven track record of building high-performing teams and delivering at scale
  • Excellent stakeholder skills with the credibility to influence senior leaders
  • Strong operational and strategic thinking with the ability to connect hiring to business outcomes
  • Confident working across geographies, adapting to new markets, and anticipating future needs

Our Vision is for a world where TravelPerk is the platform for human connection in real life (IRL). We take an IRL-first approach to work, where our team works together in person 3 days a week. For roles in Customer Care, this can be up to 5 days per week in the office. As such, this role requires you to be within commuting distance of our hubs. We fundamentally believe in meeting in real life to improve connectivity, productivity, and creativity, ultimately making us a great workplace.
