We are seeking a Head of Talent Attraction North America to support the development of our new Global People & Culture Operating model and Talent Strategy.

As the Head of Talent Attraction (TA), North America (NA) you will oversee the TA team and its operations in the region. You will be responsible for anchoring TA initiatives within NA, aligning them with global strategies and the Center of Excellence (CoE) as well as addressing regional specificities.

We are in the midst of designing our new People Operating model, where our aim is to combine separate organizations in one joint P&C organization to support our OneGN organizational structure and become a function of scale.

The P&C team operates in a matrix set-up, collaborating closely with the business and colleagues in APAC, NA, and EMEA to leverage local knowledge.

As the Head of TA, this role will report to the Head of Human Resources for North America. The location for this role will from Spring 2025 be at GN's new facilities in Shakopee, Minnesota. Until then, the position will be located in Bloomington, Minnesota working a hybrid schedule.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

  • Oversee the TA function in NA, with direct people leadership responsibilities

  • Transform the TA function to become OneTA function, aligning our brands

  • Support the development, collaboration, and overall effectiveness of the TA team in NA

  • Lean in and function as a TA Partner, if work volumes require

  • Create collaborative partnerships with global P& C partners

  • Implement global TA initiatives and projects in NA in collaboration with CoE

  • Collaborate with local and global leadership and the CoE to adapt global strategies to regional contexts

  • Ensure the implementation of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) within the TA processes across NA

  • Provide experience and thought leadership in TA and DEI initiatives

  • Drive and develop relationships with regional search firms and recruitment service providers

  • Some travel days, >10%, are required

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you bring the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent

  • Proven solid TA leadership experience within a global matrix setting

  • Substantial experience of deploying TA processes to attract and retain key talent across NA

  • Change and Transformation management skills and experience to support the shift in structure

  • A collaborative mindset to work effectively with both local countries and Group P&C, with the ability to balance both agendas

  • Ability to consult with multi-level operational and divisional leaders regarding TA and P&C related matters

  • DEI implementation experience, creating and anchoring inclusive and unbiased TA policies

  • Ability to establish partnerships with organizations to promote and attract underrepresented groups

  • Effective leadership, stakeholder management, project management and interpersonal skills with a structured approach

  • Capable of self-guided work and committed to cooperative efforts within a multicultural global team to deliver outcomes spanning multiple time zones
