Key Responsibilities
Strategic Talent Acquisition Leadership
- Develop and execute a strategic TA plan aligned with business growth, project pipelines, and global resource planning.
- Partner with engineering discipline leads, project managers, and corporate leadership to forecast manpower needs.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for niche engineering roles, project management positions, and support functions.
Operations & Delivery
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment for Equinox India: sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, salary negotiation, and onboarding coordination.
- Manage high-volume project hiring while maintaining quality standards and timelines.
- Lead the Talent Acquisition team; provide coaching, guidance, and performance management.
- Implement best practices for interview processes, technical assessments, competency-based evaluations, and candidate experience.
Process Excellence & Systems
- Standardize and continuously improve TA processes, documentation, and metrics.
- Oversee HRIS/ATS utilization and ensure accurate data management and reporting.
- Track and manage recruitment KPIs (time-to-fill, quality of hire, cost per hire, pipeline strength, etc.).
Employer Branding & Talent Pipeline Development
- Strengthen Equinox’s presence in the engineering talent market.
- Build strategic partnerships with engineering colleges, universities, job boards, and industry associations.
- Manage recruitment campaigns, digital presence, career fairs, and referral programs.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all recruitment processes follow Indian employment laws and company policies.
- Maintain compliance documentation, offer processes, background checks, and data privacy requirements.
- Support internal audits and policy updates related to hiring and onboarding practices.
Collaboration with HR & Corporate Teams
- Work closely with HRBP, Learning & Development, and Compensation teams to ensure seamless employee integration.
- Partner with global TA teams for alignment on standards, tools, and cross-regional hiring initiatives.
- Support organizational change, expansions, and new project mobilization efforts.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Deep understanding of technical recruitment within engineering, EPC/EPCM, oil & gas, or project based industries.
- Strong business and workforce planning acumen with the ability to anticipate hiring demand based on project lifecycles.
- Expertise in full-cycle recruitment, employer branding, sourcing strategies, compensation benchmarking, and candidate assessment.
- Proven ability to partner with senior engineering and project leadership across India and global teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale high-performing Talent Acquisition teams.
- Strong analytical mindset: ability to interpret hiring metrics, ratios, and data to drive process improvements.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume, multi-geography recruitment environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- 8–15 years of progressive Talent Acquisition, including at least 5–10 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in EPC, EPCM or project-based professional services industry/ies.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, HRIS/ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and data-driven TA practices.
