HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
As Head of Talent Acquisition, APJ, you will serve as the strategic talent acquisition leader for one of Thermo Fisher Scientific's most dynamic and diverse growth regions. You will partner closely with APJ business leaders, HR leaders and global Talent Acquisition stakeholders to shape talent strategies that enable business growth, strengthen critical capabilities and deliver exceptional hiring outcomes.
APJ remains a key growth market within our global business. As the regional TA leader, you will translate business priorities into forward-looking workforce plans, helping leaders anticipate talent needs, navigate changing market dynamics and build sustainable pipelines for critical and leadership talent. Through strong business partnership and data-driven insights, you will ensure talent acquisition remains a competitive advantage for the region.
You will also lead the continued evolution of the APJ Talent Acquisition organization, ensuring the operating model, technology, processes and capabilities are optimized to deliver scalable, high-quality and consistent outcomes. By embedding global best practices, leveraging advanced talent acquisition technologies and driving operational excellence, you will position the team to meet both current and future business needs.
As our APJ regional business continues to evolve, you will further strengthen the TA team's role as trusted strategic advisors to business leaders and HR partners. By leveraging global TA networks, market intelligence and talent insights, you will help shape talent decisions that support long-term business success.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strategic business acumen, strong talent leadership capability, operational excellence and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across a complex, matrixed organization.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You will ensure that successful talent acquisition strategies are developed and executed by leading an APJ regional team and interfacing with global TA colleagues and COEs, all dedicated to bringing world class talent acquisition solutions to the business. Build on our diverse employee base through the expansion of our purposeful brand, further establish the APJ TA team as a strategic partner & refine existing and new Talent Acquisition processes.
Partner with APJ business and HR leaders to develop and execute talent acquisition strategies that enable business growth, build critical capabilities and ensure the organization has access to the talent required to achieve short- and long-term objectives.
Lead workforce planning and talent advisory discussions across the region, leveraging market intelligence, talent analytics and business forecasts to anticipate future hiring needs, identify risks and shape proactive talent strategies.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing consultative guidance on talent availability, organizational capability requirements, workforce trends and talent investment decisions.
Lead and continue to evolve the APJ Talent Acquisition organization, developing a high-performing team and scalable operating model capable of delivering consistent results within a complex, matrixed environment.
Deliver exceptional full-cycle recruitment services across APJ, ensuring high-quality hiring outcomes, strong stakeholder partnerships and an outstanding candidate experience across all functions and levels.
Partner across HR, Talent, Rewards and global Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated talent solutions, strengthen leadership and critical talent pipelines, and align talent acquisition strategies with broader workforce priorities.
Drive adoption and optimization of global TA systems, tools and methodologies, embedding operational excellence, process standardization, data-driven decision making and continuous improvement to increase efficiency, scalability and hiring effectiveness.
Establish robust performance management and governance practices, using analytics and insights to prioritize demand, allocate resources effectively and improve the quality, speed and predictability of hiring outcomes.
Act as an internal talent consultant, proactively identifying emerging talent challenges and opportunities, and delivering solutions that support business performance and long-term organizational success.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or other related field equivalent knowledge and experience is required.
Experience
Experience leading high-performing regional Talent Acquisition teams with a demonstrated track record of delivering business outcomes within complex, matrixed organizations.
Demonstrated success partnering with senior business and HR leaders to develop and execute talent acquisition strategies that support business growth, organizational capability and workforce priorities.
Experience with workforce planning and talent advisory initiatives, leveraging market intelligence, talent analytics and business insights to anticipate talent needs and inform hiring strategies.
Strong consultative, stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to advise leaders on talent availability, workforce trends, organizational capability requirements and talent investment decisions.
Demonstrated experience building and executing talent attraction strategies, including employer branding, multi-channel sourcing and talent pipeline development to improve hiring outcomes and business results, ideally within the life sciences sector.
Experience driving operational excellence through the effective adoption of talent acquisition technologies, process optimization and data-driven decision making.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data and insights to prioritize resources, improve hiring effectiveness and support strategic decision making.
Proven understanding of HR and Talent Management practices, with the ability to partner effectively across HR Centers of Excellence and broader business functions.
Knowledge of Talent Acquisition and HR technologies, including ATS, CRM and talent analytics platforms; experience with Phenom People and Workday ATS is advantageous.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, lead through change and influence diverse stakeholder groups across a global environment.
Must be proficient in English.
Ability to travel up to 25% within APJ.
