The Head of Supply Planning ensures timely and efficient finished product supply to L-Acoustics customers. This position reports to the Global Supply planning director within the Supply Chain organization of L-Acoustics.
The Head of Supply Planning primarily owns the operational (0-3 months) and tactical (3-18 months) supply planning activities like master planning, scheduling, and capacity planning for group entities. The position sets the direction for, synchronizes, and oversees the supply planning activities of L-Acoustics group sites across the globe and strategic suppliers in collaboration with the respective supply planning teams of these sites.
The Head of Supply Planning is accountable for ensuring industry-leading service and finished product inventory results of L-Acoustics.
Contribution and Deliverables:
As the Head of Supply Planning at L-Acoustics, you will,
Within the operational horizon,
- Develop master production plans based on business needs driven by the S&OP process, ensuring that products are available to meet customer orders.
- Identify and proactively address supply bottlenecks and disruptions to minimize production delays.
- Act as the key contributor to the supply availability process with a mandate to debottleneck the process and reduce the need for manual supply allocation.
- Ensure synchronization and drive clarity for the supply planning activities across group sites.
- Guide component planning, supply chain operations, and sales coordination to work in full synchronization with supply plans.
- Own the planning for custom and make-to-order items.
- Define, own, and monitor service, cost, and cash-related KPIs.
Within the tactical horizon,
- Lead the product segmentation process to classify product portfolios to simplify planning activities.
- Lead the operating strategy process to uncover and document operational constraints and lead times that need to be considered.
- Contribute to the process of prioritizing, reducing, or eliminating operating constraints.
- Lead the rough-cut capacity planning (RCCP) process for main sites with a mandate to establish a global RCCP process across group sites.
- Act as a contributor to the RCCP process for warehousing, logistics, and key suppliers.
- Contribute to cost control and reduction strategies, optimizing production costs while maintaining product quality.
- Own the process for avoiding and eliminating non-performing inventory.
- Contribute to the annual budget process and the monthly S&OP process.
- Work in harmony with the supply planning business expert to drive data-driven decision-making and adoption of modern supply chain tools & processes.
Within the strategic horizon,
- Contribute to the planning activities of new production sites, new distribution centers, new markets, new products, new customers, and new business verticals.
- Lead the capability-building plan, define roles and responsibilities, and own functional onboarding plans of the related organization.
Experience:
You will be set for success in this position if you have

Background in supply chain, operations management, or related fields.

Minimum 10 years of experience in production planning and scheduling with Dynamics 365 or similar tier 1 ERP software.

Proven track record of optimizing production processes, reducing lead times, and improving on-time delivery performance.

Ability to analyze complex data and trends to draw actionable insights that drive decision-making.

Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence peers, indirect reports, and managers.

Experience in building, managing, and developing planning teams in high-growth, high-complexity environments.

Experience in complex manufacturing contexts. Experience in sound systems, electronics, or a related industry is a plus.
