Head of Supply Chain Hungary

Now we’re looking for a Head of Supply Chain Hungary who will take full ownership of planning, ordering, inventory performance, supplier reliability and automation — and lead this part of the Hungarian supply chain into its next stage of growth.

• You will lead a critical part of the supply chain for one of Rohlik’s key growth markets, with a direct impact on thousands of customers every day.

• You’ll work closely with C-level leadership, Tech, Category and Operations teams.

• Your work will directly shape availability, margin, waste reduction and customer experience.

As Head of Supply Chain Hungary, you will own the planning and inventory side of the supply chain across categories and fulfillment centers.
This role is not focused on logistics execution — its core is forecasting, ordering, supplier performance, stock health, and process improvement.

It’s also a very hands-on role. We’re looking for someone who can think strategically, but is also comfortable being close to the day-to-day operation, solving real problems, improving processes, and working side by side with the team.

You will:

Lead planning, ordering & inventory performance

• Own availability, stock health, shrink, OTIF and working capital

• Oversee forecasting, replenishment and ordering processes across categories

• Improve supplier performance and ensure SLA adherence

Lead and support a smaller team

• Manage and develop small team of supply chain specialists
  Work closely with the team on day-to-day priorities, problem-solving and execution

• Coach the team while staying connected to the operational reality

Drive automation & digitalisation

• Increase automation in ordering, forecasting and exception handling

• Shape tools, workflows and solutions with Product and Tech teams

Strengthen cross-functional alignment

• Partner closely with Category, Finance, Fulfillment Operations and Demand Planning

• Improve visibility, planning accuracy and decision-making across the business

Enhance planning & reporting

• Improve forecast accuracy and reduce manual work

• Own dashboards and data clarity for the Hungarian supply chain scope

You’re a supply chain leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

• Extensive experience in supply chain, ideally in retail, FMCG, grocery or e-commerce

• Proven experience leading teams in fast-paced environments

• Strong background in planning, ordering, inventory management, OTIF, ASN and inbound accuracy

• Understanding of fresh / chilled / dry supply chains is a strong advantage

• Track record of improving KPIs and leading teams at scale

• Data-driven mindset; strong Excel skills (BI tools are a plus)

• Experience working with Tech teams on tools, automation and AI initiatives

• Fluency in Hungarian and advanced English
