ABOUT THE POSITION:
Head of Supply Chain at BURGA is more than just a title—it’s a front-row seat to the evolution of a brand that’s taking the world by storm. You'll be at the heart of an extremely versatile and fast-paced environment, where new collections, campaigns, and product launches will keep you sharp and excited.
In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in transforming our Supply Chain processes, using your expertise to develop strategies that align with our organizational goals.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead and provide guidance, and mentorship to a team of 10 people.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals. This involves forecasting demand, identifying potential risks, and optimizing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a steady and reliable supply of materials or services.
- Negotiate contracts, monitor supplier performance, and address any issues.
- Manage inventory levels to balance the costs of carrying inventory with the risk of stockouts. Implement inventory control systems and procedures to optimize inventory turnover and minimize carrying costs.
- Coordinate the transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods to ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Implement quality control processes to ensure that products meet established standards. This involves monitoring the quality of raw materials, work in progress, and finished products, and taking corrective action when necessary.
- Identify potential risks to the supply chain, such as disruptions in the supply of raw materials or transportation delays, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs throughout the supply chain while maintaining quality and service levels.
- Evaluate and implement technology solutions to improve supply chain visibility, streamline processes, and enhance decision-making.
- Encourage innovation and regularly evaluate and optimize processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain management roles.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing supply chain strategies that align with organizational goals and drive business results.
- Deep understanding of supply chain principles, including demand forecasting, inventory management, logistics, and procurement.
- Experience in identifying and mitigating supply chain risks.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor a team of supply chain professionals.
- Ability to adapt to changing business environments and lead the implementation of new technologies and best practices in supply chain management.
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English language
SALARY: starting at 5500- 7000 EUR/Month GROSS. We’re open to discussing it based on your skills and competencies.
