We are looking for a Head of Supply Chain to define and lead our Supply Chain strategy in the Americas region, covering Transport & Customs, Warehousing, and S&OP process. This role operates within a matrix environment, collaborating with teams across our global organization, including 3 Business Units (EMEA, AMERICAS, APAC) and the corporate supply chain teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assessment & Design of the Americas Supply Chain Model:

Define and implement S&OP processes, including demand planning, network optimization, and capacity planning.

Support various projects such as monthly demand plans, consumption models, integration of new businesses, and new product launches.

Develop and lead the global logistics strategy, covering warehouse operations, transportation, customs, and trade compliance.
-
Conduct SWOT analysis, provide recommendations, and create business cases to determine the optimal Supply Chain model for the region.
2. S&OP Activities:

Oversee all strategic S&OP and demand planning activities.
-
Aid in the design, development, and implementation of Dynamics as an end-to-end business solution.

Establish and document operational standards for S&OP.
-
Facilitate monthly demand forecast aggregation and consensus between functions and stakeholders.
-
Build trust and alignment with operations partners to optimize production strategies.
-
Drive continuous improvement of demand planning and S&OP processes.
-
Monitor the demand plan and provide detailed input to Sales for S&OP meetings.
-
Measure, control, and improve S&OP plan accuracy through defined metrics.
-
Lead network optimization processes to mitigate costs and maximize service.
-
Develop capacity simulation processes for growth sensitivity analysis.
-
Provide leadership for the demand planning/forecasting process.

Map the supply model based on business rules, forecast demand, and historical sales performance.
-
Develop metrics for forecast accuracy, planning data integrity, S&OP performance, service, and inventory metrics.
3. Customs:

Develop and execute strategies for customs activities.
-
Drive import & export initiatives, working cross-functionally to identify key opportunities.

Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for compliance in customs activities.

Create metrics to measure performance and identify trends.
-
Standardize operational procedures in collaboration with operations and technology partners.
4. Transportation:

Develop and execute a sustainable transportation plan.
-
Participate in negotiating rates and managing contracts with the Purchasing Department.

Develop optimization strategies to reduce costs and provide a competitive advantage.
-
Build strong internal relationships with key stakeholders.
-
Ensure transportation performance meets business needs.
-
Communicate issues and market conditions to stakeholders, identifying gaps and solutions.
-
Establish relationships with international key carriers.
-
Maintain transportation KPIs for continuous improvement.
5. Warehousing (managed internally):
-
Design and implement global warehousing strategies.
-
Standardize warehouse operations processes.
-
Lead logistics providers to ensure timely inbound and outbound flow of goods.
-
Deliver outstanding service levels and exceed customer expectations.
-
Optimize company-owned and leased assets.
-
Identify and implement initiatives and technology for operational savings.
-
Develop KPIs for warehousing, inventory management, and network effectiveness.
-
Support warehousing needs and evaluate inventory requirements for competitive solutions.

Ensure safety best practices.
Qualifications:
-
7+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Global Planning, or equivalent.
-
Experience in consulting is a plus.
-
Project management experience.
-
Expertise in end-to-end Americas supply chain and S&OP operations.
-
Strong leadership and communication skills.
-
Proficiency in English.
-
Technical skills: Proficient in Excel, BI reporting, and ideally Microsoft DYN365.
-
25% travel required.
