As Head of Strategy, Corporate Development and Transformation – Middle East, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Bupa Global in the region. What makes this role unique?
You’ll act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, steering ambitious mid- and long-term plans.
You’ll lead innovation and transformation projects that redefine healthcare delivery in the Middle East.
You’ll have the autonomy to identify new markets, negotiate partnerships, and manage high-impact initiatives like M&A and joint ventures.
Design and execute the Middle East strategic plan aligned with Bupa Global’s vision.
Collaborate with senior leaders to deliver profitable and sustainable growth.
Lead corporate development initiatives, including market entry strategies and partnerships.
Oversee transformation projects and act as PMO for high-complexity programmes.
Identify and integrate inorganic growth opportunities (M&A, JVs) and strategic investments.
Drive innovation in healthcare provision and digital capabilities.
Analyse market trends, regulatory changes, and performance metrics to inform decision-making.
Manage budgets and hold accountability for financial and operational targets.
Act as a communication bridge between Bupa Global and Middle East leadership teams.
We’re looking for a strategic leader who combines commercial acumen with a passion for healthcare innovation. You’ll need:
Proven experience in Strategy and M&A within the Healthcare Insurance industry (essential).
Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn insights into actionable plans.
Exceptional influencing skills to engage senior stakeholders and guide executive teams.
Experience managing global, distributed teams across cultures and geographies.
Ability to juggle multiple complex projects under tight deadlines.
Knowledge of the health insurance marketplace and principles.
A track record of delivering business results in international markets.
Leadership qualities that inspire teams and embed change effectively.
