The Role

About Marvell

Marvell’s semiconductor solutions are the essential building blocks of the data infrastructure that connects our world. Across enterprise, cloud and AI, and carrier architectures, our innovative technology is enabling new possibilities.

At Marvell, you can affect the arc of individual lives, lift the trajectory of entire industries, and fuel the transformative potential of tomorrow. For those looking to make their mark on purposeful and enduring innovation, above and beyond fleeting trends, Marvell is a place to thrive, learn, and lead.

Your Team, Your Impact

The Corporate Program Management Office (PMO) is a strategic function that enables enterprise decision-making, ensures alignment between business strategy and program investments, and equips delivery teams with standards, tools, and insights to achieve predictable and efficient outcomes.
The Head of Strategic Portfolio Management function within Corporate PMO leads Marvell’s enterprise portfolio management capability, enabling strategy through clear investment alignment, actionable insights, and disciplined execution. This role ensures that the company’s most critical initiatives are prioritized, supported, governed, and executed in alignment with enterprise objectives.
As a senior leader within the Corporate PMO, this role partners closely with executive leadership, Business Unit PMOs, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to translate strategy into execution—balancing priorities, managing risk, and providing transparency that enables confident, data‑driven decisions across the enterprise.

What You Can Expect

  • Drive enterprise portfolio alignment by ensuring programs and investments are aligned with Marvell’s strategic priorities across the full investment lifecycle.
  • Provide actionable portfolio insights through clear metrics, dashboards, and analytics that surface program health, risks, trends, and trade‑offs for executive decision‑making.
  • Enable enterprise‑level decision forums, leading cross‑functional portfolio and lifecycle reviews that focus on strategic intent, execution readiness, and outcome‑oriented discussion.
  • Translate strategy into execution by applying structured frameworks that connect strategic objectives to planning, prioritization, and delivery.
  • Partner across the organization with Business Unit PMOs, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to drive alignment, early risk identification, and effective course correction.
  • Provide strategic portfolio and program management leadership in partnership with Business Units for enterprise critical programs.
  • Lead continuous improvement across portfolio management practices, analytics, and operating rhythms—emphasizing lightweight, scalable processes that support speed and clarity.
  • Build and lead a high‑performing team responsible for strategic portfolio management, setting clear expectations, accountability, and a culture of enablement and execution excellence.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of portfolio/program/project management experience, including 7+ years in a leadership role within a technology or semiconductor environment focused on portfolio level management.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and learning agility.
  • Extensive experience leading enterprise or corporate PMO, strategic portfolio management, or large‑scale program governance within complex, technology‑driven organizations.
  • Demonstrated success aligning investment portfolios with enterprise strategy and enabling executive‑level decision‑making through data and insights.
  • Strong background in portfolio analytics, execution metrics, and risk management, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable narratives.
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional, executive‑level forums and influence outcomes without direct authority.
  • Experience designing and scaling lightweight frameworks and processes that improve execution without creating unnecessary overhead.
  • Exceptional communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to operate as a trusted partner to senior leaders.
