About the Role: 

We’re looking for a Head of Strategic Partnerships to lead U.S. and global provider network growth operations across Stork Club’s range of family-building and reproductive health services. This person will play a significant role in our mission of supporting families of all backgrounds in their reproductive health journeys by building up our network, ensuring every member has access to services in the U.S. and globally. This includes managing the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple contracts, owning relationships with major organizations, and ensuring Stork Club partners with the highest-quality Providers and Vendors.

Healthcare contracting experience is not required, but candidates must be experienced at owning problems end-to-end and excited to tackle all of the challenges inherent to figuring things out at an early-stage startup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run the Full Process of Strategic Partner Sourcing and Contracting.: Manage the end-to-end contracting process, from outreach and qualifying prospects to engaging with them, reviewing and negotiating contracts, responding to inquiries, and finalizing agreements at scale in the US and globally (Stork Club operates in 100+ countries).
  • Cultivate and Manage a Dynamic Partner Pipeline: Build and maintain a strong pipeline of healthcare and non-healthcare providers, including clinics, healthcare systems, ancillary vendors (specific health experts), and virtual clinical experts, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Strategic Partnership Development:  Build and establish relationships with key decision-makers and partners and serve as a trusted advisor on family-building and reproductive health benefits.
  • CRM Management and Reporting Excellence: Meticulously utilize our CRM daily with pipeline activity, track progress, forecast contract performance, and provide weekly reports to leadership and peer stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and other departments to align growth strategies to support customer launches, serve existing members, and optimize customer experience. 
  • Ensure Excellence in Provider Quality: Maintain our Center of Excellence criteria by auditing existing and future relationships to ensure they meet our rigorous requirements to provide the best possible care to our members.


Experience Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience managing the end-to-end process of partnership or business development, from prospecting to contracting. 
  • 3+ years of contract negotiation. 
  • Experience with closing multiple B2B contract a month. 
  • Experience managing and updating a CRM for pipeline management and reporting.
  • Self-starter; able to own key results while requiring minimum oversight to complete tasks and projects.
  • Previous experience working in an early-stage startup environment is highly preferred, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and innovation. 
  • Note: healthcare contracting experience is not required but business development and strategic partnership contracting at scale is must have.
