About the Role:
Come and lead our growing Pre-Sales Solutions Engineering team! As a Director of this team, you will lead and mentor a global team of Solutions Engineers that are focused on educating prospective customers and leading proof-of-concepts (POCs). In this role, you will partner closely with the wider Customer Success team and cross functional teams and key stakeholders. You will work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to help overcome any technical challenges encountered during the sales process, and capture new product requirements from prospects in the field.
You Will:
- Lead a team of Solutions Engineers across the globe supporting the sales organization
- Be responsible for tracking all POCs and work with the team to overcome any challenges
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to help gather requirements from prospects to help unlock additional revenue
- Attract, hire, and develop the Solutions Engineering team as the company continues to grow and scale
- Be a strong, close partner to the sales team, providing them the technical assistance and guidance needed to help close business
You Have:
- 3+ years of management experience in field engineering
- 5+ years of experience of selling enterprise software
- Technical background in distributed systems and/or storage systems
- Ability to present and talk with prospects and handle objections
- Deep understanding of the sales process
- Experience with building reports in SQL and SFDC

U.S. base salary range for this role is $200,000 - $240,000, not including bonus and/or commission. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. As a remote-first company, we strive to consider each candidate's job-related skills, location, experience, relevant education or training to determine individual base salary.
