We are looking for a Head of Solution Engineering to lead our solution engineering team for EMEA. The Head of Solution Engineering will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end client solution design and continuous improvement throughout the entire client lifecycle. This includes the stages from pre-sales engagement, scoping, and implementation.
The role requires a strong leader capable of guiding a team through a consultative approach, ensuring effective collaboration with both clients and internal partners to define, design, and deliver best in class solutions.
This is a hybrid role and based in our office in Swords, Co. Dublin
Responsibilities
- Provide expert solution support to Enterprise clients, helping to secure new business by clearly demonstrating the value of ESW technical solutions.
- Build and deliver technical proof of concepts, demos, and tools that effectively showcase the value of solutions to clients at scale.
- Maintain, and document industry-leading processes for client solution design, ensuring consistency and excellence across the entire client lifecycle.
- Act as a key liaison across departments, influencing product roadmaps and development to align with client needs and business objectives.
- Manage team performance, provide coaching for professional growth, and foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a client-facing technical role, preferably within the e-commerce sector.
- 2+ years of experience leading, coaching and mentoring teams.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record of helping clients understand, integrate, and successfully launch complex technical solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with product, marketing, and sales enablement teams.
- Experienced in managing and tracking multiple projects, programs, and initiatives that align with and support strategic goals.
- In-depth knowledge of B2C e-commerce processes and technology solutions is highly desirable.
