The ideal candidate would be responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of all security and operational activities within the organization. The role ensures efficient service delivery, operational excellence, client satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and the effective management of personnel, resources, and security operations across all locations.
The Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and direction for all security operations across client locations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor security policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.
- Ensure effective deployment, supervision, and utilization of security personnel.
- Conduct regular operational inspections, audits, and risk assessments to maintain service quality.
- Investigate security incidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, client requirements, and company policies.
- Coordinate emergency response plans, crisis management, and business continuity activities.
- Oversee daily operational activities to ensure efficient service delivery and achievement of organizational objectives.
- Develop operational strategies that improve productivity, service quality, and profitability.
- Monitor operational performance through established KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure effective resource planning, workforce scheduling, and operational logistics.
- Manage operational budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Conduct regular client visits to ensure service quality and address operational concerns.
- Manage client escalations and ensure prompt resolution of complaints.
- Identify opportunities for contract expansion and service improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Operations Managers, Security Coordinators, Supervisors, and other operational staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and succession planning.
- Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and company requirements.
- Maintain audit-ready operational documentation and reports.
- Monitor health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across all operations.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize operational and security risks.
- Support business development efforts by participating in client presentations and contract negotiations.
- Provide operational input for proposals, tenders, and service improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and increase profitability.
Requirements
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Business Administration, Criminology, Public Administration, Management, or related field.
- Master's degree or relevant professional certification
- Minimum 8-10 years progressive experience in security operations
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Experience managing multi-site security operations
- Strong leadership and strategic management skills
- Extensive knowledge of security operations and risk management
- Operational planning and execution capabilities
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Financial and budget management capability
- Report writing and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to analyze operational data and prepare management reports
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability
- Willingness to travel to operational locations when required
