 As a Head of Sales, you will be responsible for managing the sales department, supporting management, and ensuring sales quotas are reached. 

Work Hours: Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

This role requires in-person attendance 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively manage, lead, and motivate the sales team within an inspiring, open-communication environment.
  • Set clear team goals and consistently drive team members to achieve them.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team on lead generation and ensure all leads—especially priority leads—are promptly and effectively handled.
  • Monitor the sales funnel, address issues proactively, and operate self-sufficiently with minimal direction from supervisors.
  • Ensure all sales representatives consistently use approved, compliant language and adhere to all compliance standards and procedures.
  • Identify knowledge gaps and develop training or upskilling plans to address them.
  • Hold daily check-ins to set objectives, monitor progress, and ensure company KPIs are met.
  • Run regular team meetings to provide updates, address challenges, and introduce new processes or sales funnel changes.
  • Listen to live calls, provide coaching and feedback, and assist or re-engage customers when needed to improve outcomes.
  • Maintain full or sufficient sales-floor coverage during working hours, especially during high-value campaigns.
  • Ensure the team meets and exceeds call QA standards on an ongoing basis.
  • Create, review, and maintain analytic performance reports; identify performance gaps, implement action plans, and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Manage and verify commission reports and calculations for accuracy.
  • Support and reinforce company culture, ensuring employees feel included, supported, and heard as one unified team.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication to resolve issues raised by sales representatives.
  • Gather feedback from team members to resolve uncertainties, issues, or conflicts.
  • Delegate tasks appropriately, set deadlines, and monitor follow-through.
  • Recognize and reward high performance; address low performance promptly and constructively.
  • Train, coach, and support team members to ensure continued growth and strong product/service knowledge.
  • Maintain positive customer relationships and promote an atmosphere of healthy competition.
  • May be required to perform other tasks and duties reasonably related to job responsibilities.

Experience/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • C1 English level proficiency and fluency.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing a sales team is a must.
  • Previous experience in Financial Services and industry knowledge is a plus. 
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to train and mentor, and motivate staff. 
  • Ability to handle and manage interoffice conflict and issues.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Ability to remain compliant with internal policies, call standards, and regulatory guidelines.
    Excellent phone presence and results-oriented.
  • Strong computer skills, such as in Microsoft Windows Office suite, especially in Word and Excel. 
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and other CRM tools.
  • Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to existing and new procedures, and in turn work independently in a reliable and trustworthy manner.
