Position Overview:

We are looking for an exceptional Head of Sales to lead our sales organization, accelerate our revenue growth, and who's excited to bring an entire industry online for the first time. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams, scaling geographically, and capturing the attention of brick and mortar merchants. Youʼll be instrumental in positioning Vori as the go-to solution for food retailers everywhere.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve aggressive 10x revenue growth and customer acquisition goals.

  • Build and Lead Sales Team: Hire, manage, and mentor a world-class sales team. Build the team as we scale, with a focus on hiring the right talent at the right time.

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless alignment of sales goals with overall business objectives.

  • Customer-Centric Approach: Understand the unique challenges of independent grocers and tailor the sales approach to meet their specific needs.

  • Track and Analyze Performance: Own key sales metrics, measure success, and report on progress to senior leadership. Adjust strategies as needed to ensure continuous growth.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify, build, and maintain relationships with key industry partners, influencers, and stakeholders to expand Voriʼs reach and brand presence.


Qualifications:
  • Proven Sales Leadership: 10 years of experience in fintech or B2B SaaS sales, with a successful track record of scaling sales teams and revenue in a startup or high-growth environment. Experience with both SMB and enterprise sales is a plus.

  • AI-enabled: Can masterfully use AI and modern tools to help craft the GTM motion of the future, not the past

  • Player-Coach Able to lead from the front, and set the right example through action

  • Track Record of Growth: Demonstrated ability to drive significant revenue growth 10x+), ideally in a Series AC startup or in a fast-paced, scaling company. Track record must show you crush goals, not just meet them.

  • Exceptional Communicator: Dazzling interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, executives, and cross- functional teams.

  • Engineering Mindset: Strong data-driven approach to sales management, using metrics and insights to optimize strategy and ensure consistent performance.

  • Customer-Obsessed: Deep understanding of the needs, pain points, and challenges of independent grocers, with the ability to translate this knowledge into effective sales strategies.

  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Ideal candidates have built something on their own and felt the intensity of going zero to one. Former founders, family business

  • experience, tinkerers, indy hackers welcome.
