As the Head of Sales Operations for ANZ, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our businesses in the ANZ markets while maintaining close connectivity with our global operations. You will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, managing operational efficiency, and providing strategic insights to optimize our GTM strategies. Your focus will be on driving revenue growth, enhancing customer experience, and delivering data-driven decision-making across our go-to-market functions.


This is a key position on the Xero ANZ markets GTM leadership teams. The role will work closely with the ANZ markets Country Managers, Sales Leaders and the wider ANZ markets GTM leadership teams in ensuring we reach, engage, and grow our market share of small business customers through our partner, direct, and strategic channels.


What you’ll do


● Strategy Development: Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and finance to refine and align the ANZ go-to-market strategy with global goals.

● Operational Excellence: Drive efficiency by optimizing processes and implementing best practices and tech solutions for streamlined GTM operations.

● Analytics & Insights: Analyse market trends and customer data, translating insights into actionable strategies for improved sales performance, acquisition, and retention.

● Performance Measurement: Define KPIs, track performance, and report on key metrics like revenue growth, acquisition, and customer lifetime value. Set ANZ sales targets and incentives with global teams.

● Sales Enablement: Develop training and tools to boost sales productivity, working closely with regional and global teams.

● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships with regional and global teams to align and execute GTM strategies effectively.

● Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing team in GTM operations and analytics.


What you'll bring with you


Extensive experience leading GTM operations or analytics teams in SaaS, preferably in tech or finance.

Strong strategic thinking with a proven ability to turn data insights into effective business strategies and scalable operational processes.

Track record of using analytics to drive results.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience inspiring teams in fast-paced environments and managing complex projects.

Familiarity with ANZ markets and SaaS business models, with exposure to global companies and international markets as a plus.
