As Head of Sales, India, you will own Stripe’s sales strategy and revenue outcomes across Enterprise, Mid-Market, and Startups, with a primary focus on Enterprise. Reporting to the India MD, you will build and lead a high-performing team of Account Executives, establish the operating model for Stripe’s next phase of growth, and work directly with senior customers on their most important business challenges. You will also partner closely with Stripe’s regional and global leadership to shape our broader growth agenda for India.
We’re looking for a proactive leader who has demonstrated success operating in a high-growth environment, building and leading high-performing teams, and working through ambiguity with limited oversight. The ideal candidate has experience scaling a technology sales organization and brings strong business judgment, analytical ability, communication skills, and relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute Stripe’s sales and go-to-market strategy across Enterprise, Mid-Market, and Startups segment, with a primary focus on Enterprise and India’s AI-native and globally ambitious technology companies.
- Build Stripe’s position across the India-US corridor, working with regional teams to help Indian businesses expand globally and global businesses grow in India.
- Translate customer and market insights into clear priorities and input for Stripe’s product and solutions roadmap.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of sales professionals.
- Set the long-term vision for the India sales organization, establish a rigorous operating cadence, and drive predictable execution against key sales metrics.
- Be accountable for revenue growth, new customer acquisition, and the expansion of Stripe’s business in India.
- Coach the team in consultative and solution-based selling across every stage of the sales cycle.
- Build and maintain enduring relationships with customers, including senior executives and C-level leaders.
- Support the development and career growth of team members while increasing their impact at Stripe.
- Work collaboratively across Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Partnerships, and other teams to shape Stripe’s products and solutions around customer and market needs.
