ABOUT THE POSITION
Head of Quality at BURGA is a strategic leadership role at the core of our manufacturing and product excellence journey. You’ll be responsible for building and scaling quality systems that support rapid growth, new product development, and high-volume production, ensuring every BURGA product meets our quality promise.
You’ll work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Product, and Customer Support teams to turn quality into a competitive advantage.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead Quality department and execute end-to-end product quality strategy - from factory floor to doorstep, including unboxing experience and post-delivery issues
- Collaborate with relevant departments on quality-related brand risk, proactively monitoring customer sentiment, media, and review platforms to initiate rapid response actions
- Build a strong Customer Support feedback loop, translating real customer complaints into root cause analysis, corrective actions, and verified fixes
- Establish and continuously improve manufacturing quality processes, covering process control, defect prevention, audits, and operator capability development.
- Lead supplier quality management: audits, evaluations, claims, and corrective/preventive actions
- Ensure product compliance with applicable standards, directives, and regulatory requirements
- Implement data-driven KPIs and drive continuous improvement
- Manage non-conforming products, rework, returns, and overstock quality processes
- Lead, mentor, and extend the Quality team, based on emerging needs.
- Manage the department budget and effectively allocate resources for expansion and process improvements.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Management, ideally in manufacturing or supply chain environments
- Experience in a consumer brand or DTC environment with high customer expectations
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to scale quality functions
- Strong understanding of logistics & packaging quality
- Strong expertise in supplier quality, audits, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with new product development and production quality processes
- Experience managing quality incidents with reputational impact
- Ability to operate at the executive level and challenge decisions when quality is at risk
- High tolerance for ambiguity, ownership, and pressure
- Data-driven approach and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
SALARY: 4000 - 5500 EUR/Month GROSS. We’re open to discussing it based on your skills and competencies.
