Who you are:
As a Head of Quality Engineering, you will direct the strategic vision and mission of Quality Engineering, ensuring that both the QE and Frost organizational strategies are in alignment. In this role you will set overall department objectives and Key Performance Indicators. You will use your strong leadership skills and passion for people to manage and develop Test Automation and Quality Assurance teams. What you’ll do:
- Define Quality Engineering strategy and manage initiative implementation to enable long-term department success and contribute to the modernization of Frost’s technological framework
- Monitor and report on QE activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis to identify areas of improvement and suggest improvement through insights gained via analysis
- Manage and develop Test Automation and Quality Assurance teams to manage workflow, provide estimates to ensure timely completion of deliverables
- Collaborate with IT management and provide technical expertise to deliver actionable insights and set quality engineering strategies for multiple lines of business
- Leverage advanced communication to stakeholders and team member regarding manual test case coverage, automation improvements, and execution results
- Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Security, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality engineering, or automation engineering field
- Demonstrated experience managing a technical team
- Experience setting up onsite/offshore testing facility
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
- Experience with multiple testing tools such as Test Management tools like QTest, Project Management tools like Jira, API tools like Postman, Performance Testing like JMeter, Service and Data Virtualization knowledge and Knowledge of container technology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
