Responsibilities:- You are responsible for product safety and the strategic and operational development of quality management
- You lead two teams, foster their growth, and create a motivating work environment
- You ensure compliance with legal and customer-specific requirements across all quality-related processes
- Together with the audit team you manage internal, supplier, customer, and certification audits
- You are responsible for the ongoing development of the quality management system
- You handle international customer inquiries and complaints in collaboration with your team and maintain close contact with our subsidiaries
- You work closely with production and supplier management, identify opportunities for improvement, support process and system optimization, and are involved in raw material approvals
You hold a degree in food technology, food chemistry, nutritional science or a comparable qualification
You have several years of leadership experience in quality within the food industry
You possess in-depth knowledge of relevant standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., BRCGS & IFS Food)
You have a structured, solution-oriented approach as well as strong communication and leadership skills
You have experience preparing and conducting audits and are ideally familiar with laboratory techniques
You are proficient in SAP and common IT tools (e.g., MS Office)
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English
