As the Head of Prudential Risk, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the oversight of solvency, capital, financial reporting, and financial risk management at Bupa Insurance Limited (BINS) level. You will provide leadership and direction to the Financial & Insurance Risk Management Team, ensuring that our financial and insurance risk management practices are robust and effective. This role is crucial to maintaining our high standards and supporting our mission to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) for financial and insurance risk.
Deliver 2nd line validation of numbers supplied for the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA).
Provide advice and guidance on risk management to Finance and Actuarial functions
Oversee risk processes, Integrated Management System and SAI 360.
Lead 'deep dive' assurance activities for material financial and insurance risks.
Deliver regular financial and insurance risk reporting for Exec decision-making
Stress and scenario testing, pricing, and commercial oversight
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Actuary with significant post-qualification experience in Life Insurance, General or Health Insurance
Excellent Solvency 2 / Prudential risk & regulatory knowledge
Significant experience in financial services at a senior level
Proven track record in managing financial and insurance risk and control
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess and mitigate risks effectively
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in leading and managing teams, with a focus on developing talent and promoting a positive culture
