The Head of Project Operations will be responsible for leading and managing end-to-end ERP implementation projects, optimizing delivery processes, driving solution adoption, and supporting sales growth. This role combines strong project leadership with commercial acumen, overseeing both technical execution and business development to ensure successful project delivery, client satisfaction, and revenue expansion.
- Oversee day-to-day
company operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with policies.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of ERP implementation projects across various business functions (Finance, HR, Supply Chain, CRM, Manufacturing, etc.).
- Develop and enforce project governance, methodology, and quality assurance standards.
- Manage project scopes, schedules, risks, costs, and resources to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Oversee solution design, system configuration, integration, testing, data migration, user training, and go-live support.
- Facilitate collaboration between functional consultants, technical teams, and client stakeholders.
- Monitor project health, resolve escalations, and ensure continuous alignment with client expectations.
- Work closely with the sales team to provide technical and operational support during pre-sales activities.
- Participate in client demos, requirement scoping sessions, and solution presentations.
- Contribute to proposal development, pricing, resource estimation, and RFP responses.
- Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities based on project discovery and customer pain points.
- Develop standard operating procedures for sales operations to improve efficiency.
- Track sales pipeline performance and collaborate on strategies to accelerate deal closures.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of project managers, consultants, developers, sales operations officers, and support engineers.
- Drive performance management, coaching, and capacity building of the project and sales operations teams.
- Establish operational workflows, documentation standards, and best practices.
- Ensure efficient resource planning, utilization, and optimization across ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Serve as the escalation point for critical project and sales-related issues.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure regular communication, status reporting, and alignment with business and project objectives.
- Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership growth.
- Develop operational strategies that support business growth in both implementation and sales functions.
- Monitor KPIs related to project delivery, sales operations efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
- Stay updated with ERP trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to maintain competitive advantage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in
Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or
related field.
- Master’s degree (MBA
or M.Sc) is an added advantage.
- Strong experience in both technical project delivery and sales operations support.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in ERP implementation, operations management, or project
management.
- Experience in a tech
solutions, ERP, or software implementation company is a strong advantage.
